About Allwoods Direct
Allwoods Direct and Allwood Products are the online trading name for K. D. Henderson.
K. D. Henderson was established in 1968 as a partnership between Kenneth and Joan Henderson and we were later joined by our son Mark. In 1994 we commenced production of wood products mainly for the figurine and limited edition industry mostly in solid mahogany.
However in recent years due to market conditions we now produce almost all items in veneered MDF developing a finish indistinguishable from solid wood. With the added benefit of using timber in the core from wholly replaceable world timber stocks, and a very small volume from the world’s hardwood forests, we now supply business throughout the UK including trophy and commercial trades and pride ourselves in the quality and finish of our items produced in south west Scotland. To keep up with demand we employ a very enthusiastic team in our workshops and office.
They all take great pride in their work to achieve excellent quality products and friendly customer service.We completed our expansion programme in 2008, to include extra production and storage space, engraving equipment had already been installed and we are able to supply complete products at competitive prices.
